Welcome to Scent Society. By using scentsociety.com.au or placing an order, you agree to these terms. We have kept them as plain as we can. Nothing here takes away rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Who we are

Scent Society is an independent Australian business based on the Gold Coast, Queensland. Contact: hello@scentsociety.com.au.

Our fragrances

Scent Society creates its own fragrances, each inspired by a well-known scent. We are not affiliated with, associated with, authorised by, or endorsed by any of the original fragrance houses or brands we reference. All third-party brand and fragrance names are the trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to describe the scent family our own fragrance is inspired by. Our products are not replicas and are not sold as the original.

Products and pricing

Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. We may update products, descriptions and prices at any time. We try to display everything accurately, but if an error affects your order we will contact you before processing it.

Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. We may accept or decline it, and we may cancel and refund an order, for example if an item is unavailable or an obvious pricing error occurred. A contract is formed when we confirm dispatch.

Payment

Payment is taken at checkout through our payment providers. By ordering, you confirm you are authorised to use the payment method.

Shipping and delivery

We ship across Australia per our Shipping policy. Delivery timeframes are estimates, not guarantees.

Returns and consumer guarantees

Returns are handled per our Returns policy. Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If a product has a major failure you are entitled to a replacement or refund, and to compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If the failure is minor, we may choose to repair, replace or refund.

Intellectual property

The Scent Society name, logo, content, images and copy on this site are ours and may not be used without permission.

Acceptable use

Please do not misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, or use our content or branding to mislead others.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, and subject to the Australian Consumer Law, Scent Society is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site or products. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.

Changes

We may update these terms; the current version always lives on this page.
